 Dr. Council is a family physician certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. His medical training was at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee, both medical school and residency, finishing in 1999. His undergraduate degree was from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York in Biology and he has Master’s degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in North Carolina in ecology and the John’s Hopkin’s University in Baltimore Maryland in electrical engineering.

He frequently serves as the emergency room doctor at Sidney Health Center hospital and he maintains an office and hospital practice in Sidney, Montana.
